The wines of our Plonerhof Winery in Marlengo/Marling, are natural products. That's why we focus on sustainable viticulture right from the start. Because only if we respect nature and its cycle, can we produce great wines. That is our motto. Sustainable viticulture begins at the start: the selection of grape varieties which are suitable for the soil, the distribution in the vineyard, and the right cultivation technique. Due to the vertical alignment of the trellises in the fall line between the Nörderberg mountain and the bottom of the valley, we have succeeded in minimising treatment measures in the interests of sustainable viticulture. If the vine is cultivated according to nature and its forces, it not only thrives best, but also develops strong defences. We, from the Plonerhof Winery in Marlengo/Marling, observe this natural growth process carefully and with tactful measures, believing that quality trumps quantity. By reducing the number of grapes on the vine, we get the most out of our fruits.
